Duo-tone Manifesto Publication - Riot Grrrl

The purpose of this project is to create a duotone design manifesto.
The manifesto I chose to work on is The Riot Grrrl Manifesto by Kathleen Hanna.
The manifesto advocates about women's rights, equality of sexes and protests about the struggles that women go through. It empowers and encourage women to support each other and create work that isn’t the norm.
I chose the colour pink and black. Pink is often associated with femininity and I chose a strong shade of pink to show how women can be soft and feminine but it doesn't mean we are weak and fragile. The colour contrast between the two colour is also very eye-catching and prominent.
To match the strong message of my publication, I made a booklet and the front of the cover is a pull out card to make it fun and impactful.
